Cross Double Rotor Unmanned Helicopter Developed by the School of Aerospace Engineering of Tsinghua University Made Its Debut at the 16th China Cross-Straits Technology and Projects Fair
Today, JZ-300 “Ghost” series cross double rotor unmanned helicopter developed by the aircraft team from the School of Aerospace Engineering of Tsinghua University made its debut at the 16th China Cross-Straits Technology and Projects Fair (shortnamed as 6.18).
Bao Changchun, one of the team members, told reporters that JZ-300 is an army equipment research project aimed for reconnaissance, armed strike. It is the first home-made high-load and high-speed helicopters, filling China’s vacuum in this field. The unmanned helicopter is the main product developed by the aircraft team of the School of Aerospace Engineering of Tsinghua University - Beijing Qinghang Zijing Technology Ltd. It boasts such characteristics as heavy load, fast penetration speed, strong stability etc, which form competitiveness and industry driving force for the product.
It is learned that the composite propulsion of the industrialized unmanned helicopter project is within the cooperation framework agreement signed by the local government of Datian County in Fujian Province at the 15th China Cross-Straits Technology and Product Fair. Chen Wenhua, secretary of the Party Committee of Datian County, said that the UAV manufacturing industry is a new strategic industry supported by the state and Fujian Province, and that the Tsinghang UAV R&D project features high-technology, headquarters economy and promising growth prospect and assembly, an equipment manufacturing project with leading role. Besides, it is also an important strategic layout for realizing high quality development of industrial economy in Datian County. “Tsinghua UAV assembly project is an important starting point for the transformation of the equipment manufacturing industry in Datian,” said Chen Wenhua.
It is reported that Tsinghang UAV matches the needs of standard military equipment competition. It tells the determination of Fujian Province to vigorously introduce and develop the military and civilian integration project. The project was officially brought in Datian in April. At present, the preliminary work, including company establishment, project approval, planing and consulting was finished. And the first phase of factory construction is going to be scheduled by the end of June.
